Lulu's Groove was to brought to life to make shopping a little easier for folks who just want to get their hands on fun and affordable retro items. My mission is to create a site that offers quality products, to you, my customers at a reasonable price. While I may not always offer the exact item that brings you here to begin with, I will always have something you will be thrilled to leave with.
We believe in giving back to the community. We have chosen to support Stray Rescue of St. Louis, a non for profit organization that rescues and rehabilitates stray dogs in the St. Louis Area. 10% of all of our website and auction sales wil be donated directly to this organization, through Paypal. Donations will be made quarterly, occuring on January 15th, April 15th, July 15th, and October 15th. As our revenue grows, the donation percentage will grow too!
Some have asked why we chose to support this organization in particular. Stray Rescue is a priceless resource in our area. The founder, Randy Grim, and his army of volunteers, work tirelessly to save discarded, abandoned animals from the perils of street life. They operate 2 no kill shelters, and have also been involved with aiding pets that were caught in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Potential adopters are screened and matched with the best companion Stray Rescue has to offer. In addition, behavioral training is also provided in some cases, and aftercare is always available to folks who have opened their hearts and home to a rescued adoptee.
All pets deserve a safe home and a loving family. In recognition of this right, Stray Rescue, has created two unique programs to help aid in the search for a forever home. They offer a "Seniors for Seniors" program, in which Senior Citizens are matched with senior dogs, and are given resources to help offset the cost of adoption and care if they have a limited income. The second program is called "Rent-A-Pet". In this program, the animals are allowed to spend a weekend with their potential family to ensure a good fit for the family and also, the pet. Stray Rescue provides all the supplies necessary for the care of the dog or cat for the time they spend in the home.
I urge you to drop by the Stray Rescue website! Their url is
